Mass STEM Hub's STEM College & Career Fair is an opportunity to connect high school students who have completed rigorous STEM coursework with STEM programs at leading colleges and universities and STEM professionals from across industries . Come meet this future generation of STEM leaders as they explore what their future could look like!

The students attending the fair will have taken rigorous STEM courses through Project Lead The Way (PLTW). PLTW is a premier STEM curriculum and professional development provider with a proven ability to dramatically shift classroom practice and improve students’ interest and aptitude in STEM. PLTW pairs the rigor and engagement needed to have a real impact for students.  The organization has full K-12 offerings in engineering, computer science, and biomedical science and is a comprehensive solution for schools looking to provide students with quality STEM education. Visit www.pltw.org to learn more.

At the Mass STEM Hub STEM College & Career Fair you will have the opportunity to meet students who have completed rigorous PLTW STEM coursework and are excitedly exploring their future STEM options.

As a STEM professional, you’ll get to:

  • Show high school students what makes your job so interesting and exciting
  • Introduce your company as potential future employer and, if available, share opportunities for students to get involved while in high-school (i.e., internships, job shadows, etc)
  • Share some insights from your experience and help students understand what it would take to follow a similar career path

Participating industry professionals are asked to showcase projects or products that exemplify the work being done at your organization and the STEM skills needed for that work. Ideally these will be hands-on items with which the students can engage and get a feel for the work that you do. We invite you to get creative with what you can do with students while they’re at your booth - is there an instant design challenge or a brief activity that can give students a taste of your work? Each organization may have up to three employees present at a time to share their experiences.
