Audience: Administrators, Content Coordinators, and Classroom Teachers 

Social Studies Inquiry and Classroom Connections using Quality Resources

We are going to return to a deep dive into inquiry in the social studies classroom, and a deeper dive into quality resources.  The day will include discussions and brainstorms over “What’s in the Cabinet?” - what tools and resources are already out there to help educators? - and using rubrics to review resources.  We’ll spend part of the day reviewing parts of the inquiry cycle and different lesson examples, and receive an overview of work done by one CESA on using the Quality Materials Rubric with popular social studies resource sets.
