Lessons and best practices on managing a phishing program, one of the top most protection the corporate world needs.
Phishing is one of the key major security concerns for any organizations. Traditionally, organizations have focused on protecting their systems and infrastructure with expensive IT investments. However, an area that is not always given the same level of focus is the human factor. This presentation will emphasize why organization need to implement (or enhance) their security awareness program with a phishing program that is effective in training the workforce to be better prepare to not fall prey to phishing attacks. Lesson learned and best practices will be shared as ideas of what a security professional needs to take into account when implementing their phishing program. The overall goal is to prevent the unauthorized access to the organization systems and data that may lead to security incidents and/or privacy breaches.
Jonathan Razo, CIO and Privacy Officer at BrightInsight
Jonathan Razo has been designing, implementing and managing security and privacy programs that protect highly regulated information for over nineteen years. Jonathan is currently the Chief Information Security & Privacy Officer at BrightInsight. He recently led the efforts to implement the security and privacy program achieving HITRUST, ISO 27001/2, and EU/Swiss-US Privacy Shield Certifications.
Prior to his current role, A Chief Security and Compliance Officer at IBM Research, Jonathan was responsible for securing the infrastructure and deploying security solutions that accelerated innovation while protecting health, financial, and export-related projects and data. He has also been Information Security Officer at Stanford University and Hewlett-Packard.
Jonathan received his Bachelors degrees in Applied Math, Spanish Literature and Latin American Studies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and his MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.

1. Michael J Gimbel: FBI Special Agent San Francisco Division
Special Agent Gimbel has been a FBI agent for almost 20 years and is currently assigned to the Private Sector Engagement Squad where he the Coordinator for the FBI San Francisco Division InfraGard Program and assists in the development of the relationship between the FBI and Private Industry. Over the past 20 years, he was assigned to squads handling Organized Crime, Drug Trafficking, and International Terrorism. Special Agent Gimbel has investigated matters relating to major drug trafficking organizations in Mexico as well as Usama bin Laden, Al-Qaeda, Sunni Extremist Groups, Hamas, Iran/Hizballah, and most recently ISIS. He is an Advanced FBI Instructor, teaches and speaks on terrorism at the FBI Academy as well as to local, county, and state law enforcement agencies both around the United States and Internationally.
Prior to his employment with the FBI, Special Agent Gimbel worked for 8 years as a Criminal Enforcement Investigator for the State of Florida, Department of Banking and Finance, in Orlando, Florida. He investigated bank, mortgage, securities, investment, and most types of financial fraud as well as any instance of fraud, waste, or abuse of state funds.

Brian is the supervisor of a Cyber squad in FBI San Francisco division.
