We are excited that you will be joining us for the 22nd Annual Northern California Safe and Healthy Schools Conference! This amazing two-day conference features keynote speakers and workshops that will engage and inspire anyone who works in the areas of health, mental health, nursing, alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, positive youth development, peer education, restorative justice/practices, PBIS/MTSS, equity, social justice, school safety and response, inclusive schools, and bullying prevention.
Day 1 – Wednesday, November 6, 2019: Healthy Students
Guiding Question: What strategies and programs can we use to improve the physical and emotional health of students?
Day 2 – Thursday, November 7, 2019: Safe Schools
Guiding Question: What strategies and programs can we use to create safe, respectful and inclusive classrooms, schools and communities?
Both Days: Youth Development
Guiding Question: What strategies and programs can we use to engage young people and develop the next generation of wellness advocates?
