Dee Barnes understands transforming grace. She began walking out of same-sex attraction over 25 years ago and  has ministered to the Body of Christ in the areas of sexuality and family for over 18 years. In 2008 she founded His Wonderful Works. Dee's testimony and teaching have encouraged many congregations in the Truth of God’s transforming power. As Dee experienced increasing freedom, God put a burning desire in her heart for the Body of Christ to be free from sin, shame and fear in relationships and for God’s people to abide in His truth about family and sexuality.

Her transparency opens the door for many to be set free from the shame that binds them and her teaching brings understanding to many issues including God’s plan for family, healthy relationships, sexual sin, homosexuality, sexual abuse, and pornography addiction. Her desire is to embolden others to safely share details of their lives, to be known and to experience God’s grace and healing in doing so.

Dee served as coordinator for the healing discipleship program, Living Waters, by Desert Stream Ministries. Dee formerly severed as Board Chair with Restored Hope Network, a coalition of ministries serving those who desire to overcome sinful relational and sexual issues in their lives and those impacted by such behavior, particularly homosexuality. Her term ended in June 2019. Dee is also a featured Speaker at the University of the Nations in Kona, Hawaii, for Youth with a Mission.

Here are a few fun facts about Dee. Her favorite hobby is a 20-mile endurance mountain bike racing. She is a coffee connoisseur, carries a handgun and loves shotgun sports. Dee lives in Covington, GA, with her wonderful husband of 24 years and their three awesome college age children.
