Mikayla Bodey, '17
Mikayla currently serves as a Senior Legislative Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives. After graduation, she moved to DC to join the legislative team of Senator Claire McCaskill. An alumna of WAIP, Mikayla interned with the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry. At Ohio State, she majored in Public Affairs with a minor in Agriculture and Food Policy.
Abby Vesoulis, '18
Abby is a reporter at TIME Magazine’s Washington DC Bureau. There, she writes articles on politics and policy, and fact-checks magazine cover stories. While in WAIP, she interned for NBC Washington’s digital team in the Fall of 2017. At Ohio State, she majored in Journalism and Political Science. Abby was a student research assistant, a teacher’s assistant, and a WOSU news intern; she was also the special projects editor at OSU’s student newspaper, The Lantern.
