We're running this popular Workshop from Thurs-Sat. so that we can take advantage of some local spots that sometimes get too crowded on weekends. Join us and you'll learn to expand your technique and vision, learn to better see the composition and balance that adds flow, beauty and story to your images! The Workshop will have plenty of shooting time and during our classroom time, Joe will show how to process and shape images to take a good digital capture and transform it into a great photograph.

We will have models join us so that you get more experience with posing, lighting and composition. We’ll also discuss portrait techniques using natural light and off-camera flash. With beautiful landscapes for environmental portraiture, this is a weekend you don't want to miss! Thursday and Friday will be dedicated to shooting and Saturday is our scheduled classroom time. We may adjust this schedule based on the light and weather.

Our wonderful hosts are Lauren and Leigh at the Apple Valley Inn, in Glenwood, NJ. This historic 1831 home offers a wonderful backdrop for the workshop. Enjoy the country charm of taking a break on the wrap around porches, strolling in the gardens, or relaxing by the stream that runs along the Inn. To start your day each morning you will be treated to a full served country breakfast. Visit their website at www.applevalleyinn.com to see this lovely Inn and tour the rooms online.

Tuition is just $595 for three full days of instruction and great environmental portraiture.
