Gallbladder Health Lunch-n-Learn 

If you experience pain in your stomach area every time you eat, you may have more than a common stomach ache. It could be your gallbladder. Most people don't pay much attention to their gallbladder until it begins causing trouble. FCMC General Surgeon Dr. Jeremy Whitt will detail some of the common symptoms of, and treatment for cholecystitis.

Some individuals have a higher risk of developing cholecystitis, especially women, those over 40 years of age, those with a family history of gallstones, and others. Dr. Whitt will detail what can be done to reduce risk factors, and the types of treatments available to those with gallbladder trouble.

There is no fee to attend this program, but registration is required and a light lunch will be provided to all registered attendees.
