RCO Summit
on the campus of the College of the Holy Cross, Worcester

Deadline to make hotel reservations is Friday, July 26

The RCO Bootcamp is a one-day training that provides you with the knowledge, tools and strategies to strengthen and sustain recovery community organizations. The agenda is informed by peer input and feedback from meetings, evaluations and reports. You can expect a dynamic mix of teaching, sharing best practices and lessons learned, and networking. Trainers include faculty from Faces and Voices of Recovery, a national education and advocacy organization, and local experts representing RCOs and recovery allies.

The RCO Summit focuses on advancing the RCO movement in Massachusetts. We take a look at RCO innovations, national certification, state-level policy and advocacy opportunities, and a deeper understanding of cultural and other barriers to recovery. At the end of the day, you will break out into regions to discuss and brainstorm ways to apply what you learned to both your RCO and on a regional level. You will leave with a fresh perspective, a network of new colleagues, and inspirational ideas to share with peers at your RCOs.

He was the first person to hold the position who was also in long-term recovery from a substance use disorder and who came from a public health background. Botticelli previously served as the Director of the Bureau of Substance Addiction Services at the Mass Department of Public Health.

Summit 2018 RCO Poster Session - August 7 and 8

The RCO Poster session provides organizations with an opportunity to "host" a table or easel throughout both days to showcase a program or idea that has had success.
