Anxiety can affect so many of us on a daily basis, usually striking without warning.  This class is designed to help use yoga as a tool to stay present, experiencing life as it really is, not focusing on the past or future projections. Asana (poses) and breathwork combined aid to calm jittery minds, helping to cope with stress. 
In this class we will move through a gentle yoga practice with an emphasis on grounding standing postures. We will learn to use our breath through pranayama practices and repeating mantra to help drift to a non-thinking realm, thus easing the mind. We will end class with a loving kindness meditation, followed by a relaxing guided yoga nidra (yogic sleep) to reduce stress, promote deep rest, and calm the nervous system.  This practice is suitable for all!
