This three day training is designed for young adults who are currently working as Young Adult Peer Mentors and/or Therapeutic Mentors who have their own lived experience of mental health, substance misuse and/or trauma challenges and who want to learn how to share that experience with purpose and intent to support the lives of the young adults they serve.
In addition to being present and engaged during the training, participants will be asked to complete a 30 minute self-reflection tool prior to each individual day of training. The self-reflection tool is based on the six core elements of the Young Adult Peer Mentoring Practice Profile.
In addition, there will be a day long coaching session with your supervisor after the completion of the training on Wednesday, December 4th in Shrewsbury, MA.
