9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Pre-registration at 9 a.m.

*NEW LOCATION: One of our most requested annual workshops is now being offered offsite for our Kentucky-based community partners. Join Marta Brockmeyer as she covers the basics of project management in a new location: Grant County Public Library in Williamstown, Kentucky*

Description

Your boss walks into your office and assigns you a new complex project or asks you to plan the annual volunteer luncheon. Where do you start? What resources -- including funding and staff time -- do you need? And how do you plan this while doing your other work? Learn how to plan and manage projects in this introductory, interactive program that includes conflict management tips. Participants will also learn to balance multiple demands on time while remaining focused.

At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Budget and plan to manage a project.
  • Troubleshoot problems and avoid common project delays.
  • Provide clear project outcomes and measure success.

Nonprofit Rate: Costs associated with this class are fully subsidized by Interact for Health for nonprofit agencies. There is no charge to attend this class.

Cancellation Policy

Participants who register for the workshop and do not attend or offer a replacement will be charged a $150 cancellation fee. Participants who cancel their registration on or before 5 p.m. EST Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019, will have the fee waived. To cancel a registration for the workshop, please e-mail mstewart@interactforhealth.org or call 513-458-6680
