Teachings on Green Tara by Jetsunma Jamyang Palmo

Revealed by Pedgyal Lingpa, the great yogi of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition in the 20th century, this Green Tara practice, the enlightened feminine principle, is used to reveal our own innate wisdom and compassion. The practice in English is both concise and easily accessible to both beginners and more seasoned practitioners alike.

This retreat will be taught by the Venerable Jetsunma Jamyang Palmo. Jetsunma has completed nine years of retreat and nine years of shedra studies at Ngagyur Nyingma Institute. Jetsunma was enthroned by Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche and given the highest honorific title of Jetsunma. Jetsunma having accomplished the most complete training in Buddhism is also currently pursuing studies in American universities, primarily in psychology and western thought. Jetsunma will bestow the initiation, reading transmission and instructions on the practice. When receiving a Vajrayana initiation it is customary to make an offering in accord with one's means. A contribution, no matter the amount, creates the circumstances for an auspicious connection (tendrel) with the lineage, teaching and the vajra master.

This weekend retreat at Pema Khandro Ling is non-residential.  Tea and hot water will be available before sessions.  Students are responsible for providing your own meals, lodging and transportation.
