Craniosacral Therapy for Infant Breastfeeding

Dr. Alison Hazelbaker is teaching her Infant CST protocol on how craniosacral therapy can be used to identify and overcome infant sucking and breastfeeding issues. She will focus on anatomy and physiology of suck, anatomy and physiology of milk production, differential diagnosis, step-by-step instruction through the protocol and she will discuss structural trauma including tongue-tie, torticollis, plagiocephaly, and brachycephaly, forceps and vacuum extraction, c-sections and other birth trauma. There will also be clinical practice on real babies.

This course is for ADVANCED-PRACTICE Craniosacral Therapists. Dr. Hazelbaker will be covering Anatomy & Physiology at an advanced level. If you do not feel comfortable with Anatomy & Physiology, please be sure to review oral, pharyngeal, thoracic and cranial anatomy PRIOR to coming to our workshop.

As is true with all Craniosacral therapy trainings, because you will be receiving the work, please be sure to make space for your own personal processing in the evenings after class.

This course offers 37.5 contact hours and 12 CERPs through the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners.

Prerequisites: Class participants are required to have previous CST training that includes both mouthwork and emotional work. If you have trained with Upledger, you need to have completed at least SER 1. If you have Milne training, you must have taken through the first level of mouth work. If you are Biodynamics trained, you must be certified. If you have trained with Carol Gray, you must have taken Subtle Hands, CST for Infants, and CST for Infants Advanced Clinical Skills.
