LOCATION: Hike the trails at Moores Creek National Battlefield
TIME: Meet at 9 am on Saturday September 7th
HIKE DESCRIPTION: We will hike the one-mile trail through Moores Creek National Battlefield, the site of the first North Carolina victory for the Patriots. Cross the Moores Creek Bridge, where Patriots trapped the Loyalists army. Pass the only monument dedicated to women of the Revolutionary War and the only one dedicated to Loyalists and a monument honoring the only Patriot loss in the battle. We will serve birthday cake to celebrate the creation of the MST!

DIFFICULTY: Easy
MEETING LOCATION: Entrance to Visitors Center at Moores Creek National Battlefield, 40 Patriots Hall Drive, Currie, NC 28435.
