for Direct Care Workers


Train-the-Trainer Event - Shrewsbury, MA

Univerisity of Massachusetts Medical School, in collaboration with the MA Home Care Aide Council, is offering a Train-the-Trainer event for organizations seeking to administer the Executive Offices of Health and Human Services' and Elder Affair's ABC's for Direct Care Workers curriculum, a product of the MA Personal and Home Care Aide State Training (PHCAST) project.  This 60-hour standarized core competency curriculum aligns with the Executive Office of Elder Affairs training requirements for home care aids and personal care homemakers.

This one day Train-the-Trainer event will be Thursday, September 26, 2019 at UMass Medical School in Shrewsbury, MA from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm.

The registration fee for this event is $175.00 and covers a light breakfast and lunch.  Nursing CEUs are available for an additional $10.00.  Payment methods are via credit card (preferred) or check. More information on this event will be included in the confirmation email you will receive after you have registered.
