Jazz for Autism: A Benefit for Autism Families CONNECTicut 

Autism Families CONNECTicut’s newest fundraiser, Jazz for Autism, is an intimate evening of jazz, art, drinks and food at the home of Marjorie and Steven Sussman in Avon, featuring West Hartford native Alexa Tarantino, accompanied on the piano by Steven Feifke.

The Evening Includes:
6:30pm - Reception
7:15pm - First Set
8:00pm - Intermission and Art Auction
8:30pm - Second Set
9:30pm - Conclusion

About the Musicians:
Alexa is an award-winning, vibrant, young jazz saxophonist, woodwind doubler, composer and educator.  She is described by The New York Times as having a “lovely, ardent way of improvising,” which allows her individual voice to shine through as a dynamic performer.   Alexa will be accompanied on the piano by Steven Feifke, described by JAZZIZ Magazine as “[a] masterful pianist with an acute sense of harmony… powerful presence whether soloing or comping.”
