TXDOT's Initiatives & Impact on the San Antonio Community

 J. Bruce Bugg, Jr. 

Chairman of the Texas Transportation Commission 

As Chairman of the Texas Transportation Commission, Bugg oversees statewide activities of the TxDOT. Previously, Bugg was appointed to serve as chairman and president of the Texas Economic Development Corporation and a senior advisor to Gov. Rick Perry on the State of Texas’ economic development strategies and initiatives from 2012 to May 2014. He also served on the Board of Directors of Humanities Texas in Austin, Texas and holds multiple executive and board positions of several banks, and non-profit organizations. Read more about Bruce Here.

CREW Charity Committee will be collecting 20” box fans for Project Cool at our August Luncheon. Project Cool helps provide heat relief to senior residents 60 years of age and older across the city through donation and free distribution of 20-inch box fans to seniors in need.
