Genesis Sunday School is getting a makeover this year! In fact, we aren't even going to call it Sunday School anymore! It's now "Sunday Experience"!!

We will be using a new all-digital curriculum designed for Middle Schoolers called Orange XP3 which is...

• Anchored to the Gospel of Jesus
• Developmentally relevant for Middle Schoolers
• Simple for parents to reinforce at home
• Designed for relational discipleship
• Organized into series covering topics for a few weeks at a time
• Focused on living out their faith
• Tackles the tough topics such as anxiety and substance use in 1 week studies

The format will change to "youth group" style with the entire middle school group meeting together for the entire hour. For the last 20 minutes we will break into grade level small groups with adult volunteers leading the discussion within the groups.

Parents are so important to sharing God's word with our youth. Please consider helping as a small group leader by indicating how much time you can commit on the registration form. You will enjoy your time with the kids and might even learn something yourself!

What does a small group leader do?

• Guide the discussion to stay on topic
• Listen carefully
• Speak intentionally
• Love unconditionally
• Prepare for Sunday by reading emails from the large group leader and using provided materials
• Read the daily devotionals at home (Bible app)

The connection to home will be reinforced with weekly tips and suggestions for conversations with your child. We also have a daily devotional plan that corresponds to our topics on the free Bible App - You Version.

We will discuss everything in detail at the Kick off Rally on Sunday, September 8th at 9:45 am in the Middle School classrooms in Stewart Hall.

We look forward to your child attending regularly and know they will feel welcome and loved on Sunday mornings! Take a moment to register your child(ren) now and provide the required permissions.
