Deadline: 2019 SAPA-ForDoz Graduate Travel Grant
PURPOSE
The SAPA Graduate Travel Grant (the “Grant”) is established by the Sino-American Pharmaceutical Professionals Association (SAPA), a non-profit [501(C)(3)] pharmaceutical professional organization with more than 6,000 members, to promote and encourage innovative research in the fields related to pharmaceutical and biotechnological sciences and to provide selected graduate students and postdoctoral scholars a networking and learning opportunity to get to know the industry. The Grant is given annually to two or more graduate students and postdoctoral scholars who have conducted outstanding research in the field of medicinal chemistry, organic synthesis, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, or related disciplines.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Applicant must be a full-time graduate student or a postdoctoral scholar in a university or research institution in the U.S., having substantially completed graduate research towards a Ph.D. or M.S. degree.
Applicant must plan to attend the SAPA Annual Conference to be held in New Jersey.
PLEASE INCLUDE FOLLOWINGS WITH YOUR APPLI CATION:
1. Your current curriculum vitae
2. A research summary (1 to 3 pages), highlighting significance of the research you have conducted
3. One recommendation letter from your research advisor
4. Completed Application Form
5. An optional essay explaining why you want to apply for the Travel Award (approximately 300-500 words)
