In this workshop, you will learn Colleen's methods for creating atmospheric landscapes and vibrant florals in watercolor.

Workshop will be held at Colleen's studio location in downtown Carson City. See address and directions at left. 

Participants can enroll for all or part of this 2 1/2 - day Workshop Offering. See days and times in left column of this announcement.

Friday Evening  

• Orientation
• A few basics (as needed)
• Drawing preparation
• Designed for beginners, "out-of-townies", or those who need time for drawing preparation
  

Saturday 

• Low-horizon landscapes
• Plan to learn about painting blue, rainy, and breezy sky days with associated simple landscapes. 
• Participants can expect to take home one or two landscape paintings
• No supplies or basics discussion. We will jump right in to painting!
  
• Outline drawing(s) should be on watercolor paper prior to class

Sunday 

• Florals
• Plan to take home one or two floral paintings
• No supplies or basics discussion. We will jump right in to painting!

"The fine print" Cancellation/Refund Policy: Thank you for reserving your seat for this workshop. Since you have claimed your seat, it is no longer available for another hungry painter to claim. Therefore, fees are generally not refundable or transferrable to another class or workshop. You do have a 48-hour "grace period" to change your mind. The grace period applies only if you have reserved your spot more than one week prior to the workshop start date. If you are unable to attend (Goodness forbid!), it is your obligation to "sell your ticket." We are willing to assist if the workshop is full and has a wait list. However, we only compile a wait list if the workshop is full and registration has closed. If another painter claims your vacated seat, we will likely refund your initial fee. Fees will be refunded for any portion of the workshop that is cancelled by the Instructor, or if the course fails to meet miniumum enrollment.
