E-commerce remains a new and exciting way to conduct business. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to successfully and efficiently accept payments both domestically and abroad, as well as avoid common pitfalls when trying to accept payments internationally. 

 

This workshop will help you learn:

  1. The payments ecosystem – how it works, who all is involved, and how to navigate it to your advantage
  1. Risk factors involved in international payments and how to minimize your exposure
  1. How to interact with your processor so that your account stays in good standing and funds are distributed quickly and painlessly

 

Program Layout:

  • 8:30-9:00: Breakfast and networking
  • 9:00-11:30: Presentation and Q&A

About the Presenter:

Ryan King, President and CEO of Guardian Payment Systems, Inc

Ryan King has been the President and CEO of Guardian Payment Systems, Inc. for the past 9 years, and has been working extensively with the US Department of Commerce for the past 4 years.  Ryan’s mission with Guardian Payments is to educate business owners and bring clarity to a complex industry.

Ryan attended Hendrix College, has been married to his wife Lauren for 11 years. They have two children – Rowan and Baron – ages 10 and 8.
