At this workshop, you’ll learn from lenders who specialize in funding small businesses and startups. You’ll hear from SCORENYC clients who have successfully obtained loans. Small business owners who are seeking new funding sources will share their experiences

Kiva: connects US small business owners to 0% interest crowdfunded loans, using the power of community-based lending to provide funding opportunities for entrepreneurs when conventional lenders won’t.
Accion: is the largest nonprofit lending network in the U.S, with over 25 years of experience serving small business owners across the country.
TruFund: offers affordable loan capital to small businesses and nonprofit organizations that are financially viable, but have difficulty accessing capital from banks or other conventional lenders.
BOEDC: The Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation provides loans and assistance to existing Bronx based businesses to expand and to encourage additional businesses to start-up and/or relocate to Bronx County.
