CULTURAL COMPETENCY AND HEALTH LITERACY MASTER TRAINING PROGRAM
The Communities we serve are growing in cultural and linguistic diversity. There is a need to inspire cultural change within organizations. The Cultural Competency and Health Literacy Master Training (TTT) Program will be an interactive program in which participants will have hands on learning experience to build better communities.

The class will run approximately 7.5 hours (lunch will be provided).
The training curriculum was developed by Martine Hackett, PhD, MPH, National Center for Suburban Studies at Hofstra University.
Post-training, Master Trainers will receive a certificate of completion and the ability to host training sessions throughout the region. Master Trainers will be able to facilitate two different trainings: (1) 2 hour CCHL training sessions for workforce professionals and (2) 7.5 hour master training sessions for future master trainers.
Participants must apply online by end of business Tuesday, September 10, 2019. This is a required application process, please note completing this application does not confirm attendance to this program. Upon completing this application, you will receive follow up from a CCHL lead with next steps.
Due to the interactive nature of this program, seating is limited to 30 participants. A maximum of 2 participants per organization will be selected to attend. Preference will be given to those applicants with previous facilitation experience and those who work regularly with under-served populations within their professional roles.

Healthcare professionals, Non-Health professionals: practice managers, PPS Leaders, Community Based Leaders, and CCHL Leads.
