Saadia Z. Yunus, MA, LMFT is a licensed marriage and family therapist, motivational speaker, and community leader. She has extensive experience helping individuals, couples, families, and groups, is trained in trauma, and gives presentations and workshops throughout the country. She is a mental health columnist for The Message International magazine. She owns a private practice in Deer Park, NY and is the cofounder of Muslimahs of Long Island. She is on the advisory board of Dolan Family Health Center in Huntington, NY and on the board of The Barbershop Group, a national men's health advocacy organization. She also serves on the leadership team of the New York Marriage and Family Therapy Network. Born and raised in Bonifay, Florida, Saadia Z. Yunus now resides on Long Island, NY with her husband and four children.
