Register now to participate in this series of classes to better connect people to their state and local governments.  Rural Civic Engagement Project participants will join with others in the community interested in understanding government and taking action to implement community priorities.  Participants will learn to build connections to elected officials, navigate government processes, clearly define policy issues and develop action plans.

Classes will take place as follows:
Kick-Off Event:  Friday, October 11th, 5:00 pm – 7:30pm
Session 1, “Understanding Local Government”:  Saturday, October 12th, 9am – 3pm
Session 2, “Creating A Communications Plan”:  Saturday, November 2nd, 9am – 3pm
Session 3, “Taking Action”:  Saturday, November 16th, 9am – 3pm
