Business expansion is marked by increased output, customer base expansion, or new product development.

First, you must have a good operational plan. Operational Plan lays out the who, what, when, and how of your daily operations over the course of the next year. It is meant to define how human, financial, and physical resources will be allocated to achieve short-term goals that support your larger strategic objectives.

Second, you must understand your financial strength. A comprehensive financial analysis addresses the strengths and weaknesses of the company in terms of size, growth, liquidity, profitability, asset management, and leverage. Thin gross profit margin, bloated operating expenses and poor cash flow cause financial crisis.

In this workshop we will outline steps to understand financial statements, cash flows, resources for funding, and develop a model for growth. A bankers’ panel will introduce the different services and programs available to small business owners and start-up entrepreneurs. They will answer questions and give business advice on how to avail such programs.

At the end of this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to meet SCORE certified mentors who are readily available to provide FREE and CONFIDENTIAL mentoring.
