Fall Mushroom ID Class and Field Trip (CLASS FULL)

Are you familiar with Cantharellus, Boletus, or Tricholoma? You may be more familiar with their common culinary names of Chanterelle, Porcini, and Matsutake mushrooms! No matter what your experience is with these fungi, you will be able to expand your knowledge, and possibly your collection, on these and more with this mushroom class and field trip!

Jim Christenson, our mushroom identification expert with Yakima Valley Mushroom Society, will hold a class on how to identify fall mushrooms in our local areas. Attending this class provides you with the popular mushroom forager's guide, "All That The Rain Promises And More..." by David Arora, and qualifies you to attend a special mushroom foray on a weekend day following the class (October 5th is the preferred date, but date is ultimately dependent on weather). Location and date of the foray will be announced at the class.
