Dr. McManus has practiced pediatric dentistry for over 25 years  and is now a consultant for Henry Schein Professional Practice Transitions. He served as an Associate Professor of Dental Medicine at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and as the Director of Practice Management. With a degree in  pediatric dentistry from the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia  and four masters' degrees, Dr. McManus has lectured at many dental schools and national dental meetings on practice transitions. 

Linda Zalkin

Henry Schein Professional Practice Transition

Linda Zalkin has a rich history of sales and sales management experience in the dental industry. She started her own dental employment agency in the early ’90s servicing many dentists in the Long Island/Queens areas. After 8 years of running asuccessful agency, Linda joined the first light-activated teeth whitening company to hit the dental landscape, covering the entire Northeastern territory. In 2005, she joined Henry Schein as a Zone Technology Sales Manager covering the Northeast and most recently was a Field Sales Consultant working with dentists across Long Island. Throughout her 14 years with Henry Schein, she has built strong relationships with doctors and practice owners in her region. Linda now helps dentists in their transition phases which involves practice valuations, selling/buying practices or adding a partner/associate to the practice.

Dr. Scot Firestone

Henry Schein Professional Practice Transition

Dr. Scott Firestone has worked in the dental industry for over 40 years. He retired from private practice dentistry and is currently a Henry Schein Transition Sales Consultant for Suffolk & Nassau County. Dr. Firestone is an Assistant Professor at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, an Attending Dentist at St. Charles Hospital and is a fellow at the Academy of General Dentistry and the American College of Dentists. He was also the past Chairman of NYSDA Council and past President of the Suffolk County Dental Society.

Michael Apalucci

Henry Schein Professional Practice Transition

Mike Apalucci joined Henry Schein Professional Practice Transitions (PPT) in 2012. Prior to joining Henry Schein PPT, Mike had completed seven years at Bank of America Practice Solutions, where he was one of the original four Dental Practice Sales Regional Managers, and had a key role in re-opening dental relationships in thirteen States including New York. Mike handles NYC, Long Island, Westchester, and the boroughs, including Orange, Putnam, and Dutchess Counties, as well as selected accounts in the tri-state area. Mike has been one of the top 6 performers nationally over the past 3 years for Henry Schein PPT.

Justin Schafer

Justin Schafer is the Northeast National Sales Executive for Bank of America Practice Solutions and manages a team of 16 business development officers who specialize in all aspects of health care lending. Prior to taking this role, Justin worked for five years on financing dental acquisitions throughout the United States.

Dominick is responsible for financing all practice sales and acquisitions in the New York and New Jersey market. Dominick's previous 12 years were spent working extensively in dental distribution and technology equipment sales in the Tri-state market. His previous dental experience and understanding of the dental market make him a reliable resource for his clients.
