Prep Workshop #2
Nobody – not even a crystal ball – can foretell the future with absolute certainty. But, as we all know, we need an idea of the future to make any kind of decision, including business decisions, today. So how do we go about it? This workshop, one in a series of many, is intended as an introduction to “best guesstimate” a likely future in terms
of revenues and expenses for your business over a period of time. You will learn about critical business metrics such as (and not limited to) profits or losses, changes to balance sheets, and changes to cash flow. Beginning with why a forecast is needed, this workshop will highlight some basic financial parameters to consider in the forecasting process before concluding with an introduction to some basic approaches to business forecasting.
