Katherine Ambrose is Executive Producer & Host of Empowering Seniors on Wichita’s PBS television station, KPTS.  Empowered Senior Series, at Botanica, is her signature program on which the TV show is based.  Each month her seminar series attracts hundreds of mature adults from GenX & Boomers, to Seniors in their seventies, eighties, and nineties.  Attendees come eager to learn about the overwhelming issues we all face as we age… including where to live in later years, avoiding scams, health issues, elder law, & how to better communicate with their adult children, caregivers, and family.

These community outreach efforts reflect her passion to equip, educate, and empower mature adults when it comes to life transitions.  

As a lifelong Realtor® of over thirty years she especially takes housing issues to heart.  Hubby of 31 years, Randy, is her business partner in their Ambrose Team family real estate practice. Today, they offer an expanded menu of services, Downsizing Doo-Dah, catering to clients making a comprehensive downsize or long distance move.  Elder clients especially benefit from Katherine’s expertise as a Certified Senior Housing Professional®, Certified Senior Downsizing Coach® and her delightful “Doo-Dah divas”…a compassionate crew of dedicated women that serve as professional organizers, downsizing specialists, and elder Mover Managers.  Seniors are able to take action with complete emotional, logistical, and physical support that makes these moves easier on everyone involved!  Their mission is to help people get from overwhelmed to overjoyed!

Katherine is a captivating visionary with an entrepreneurial spirit and message that inspires.  She is the local founder of KW Realty. It’s a proud legacy that has culminated in the firm gaining the largest market share in Wichita.  Though her new projects are becoming her true life work.

Mom to 3 incredible adult children, and Grandma to 2 adorable grand babies… she loves to spend time with family, her dogs, and to travel any chance she gets…especially to the sunshine state!
