Wine Pairs Events Road Trip!

Guadalupe Valley 1 Day Wine Excursion:

Saturday, October 19th 2019 

We're hitting the road for a fun-filled day of wine and food to Mexico's Guadalupe Valley Wine Country on our Annual Wine Pairs Events Guadalupe Valley Road Trip!

Mexico has a growing climate similar to the Rhone Valley, unfortunately most of the Country's wine production is not exported, but we're not going to let that stop us! Join us on this full day trip to Baja California's Wine Region where we'll visit three different wineries and learn how our Southern Neighbors make awarding winning wines!

Our wine trips are like no other! Smaller group size translates to VIP access and open doors for inside looks and red carpet treatment at wineries.

We only have 34 seats available for this fabulous day trip, so hurry and register if you'd like a spot! Our charter this year is a 56 passenger coach, so there will be plenty of room on board, as well as a restroom.

Schedule*:

07:15am - 07:30am Arrive at Proprietor's Reserve, we'll leave PROMPTLY at 7:30am!
08:00am - 10:30am Travel to Guadalupe Valley; Chef Erin's Mimosa Breakfast (Pastries, Fresh Fruit, Fritatta, & Mimosas!); This year's charter has a restroom!
10:30am - 12:00pm Vinos Lechuza: VIP Winemaker Tasting, Tour, Local Bread, Olive Oil
12:30pm - 03:00pm Seated Wine Lunch: Latitud 32/El Cielo
                                    Fresh Picked Garden Salad with Brie and
                                    Choice of
                                    Chicken Breast with Yucatan Salsa, Garlic Potatoes and Cheese Sope or
                                    Roasted Lamb Birria with Garlic Potatoes, Au Jus and Corn Tortillas and
                                    Bread Pudding with Dulce de Leche Ice Cream
                                    Three El Cielo Wines will be poured during lunch, 1 white & 2 reds
03:30pm - 05:00pm Las Nubes Winery: VIP Tasting, Local Cheese & Jam Board, Vista Views
05:30pm - 09:00pm (Approximate) Return to Proprietor's Reserve, Snack Bags, Beer & Cider

Here is what your trip fee includes:

  • Luxury Charter Bus Service to and from Guadalupe Valley (pick up and drop off at PRWB). In addition to a restroom, this year's charter seats 56 people, so there will be plenty of extra space and seats as our group will be no more than 36 people.
  • Dedicated English Speaking Charter Driver
  • Chef Erin's Mimosa Breakfast on the Charter Bus
  • Entrance and Tastings at Three Guadalupe Valley Wineries
  • VIP Winery Tours (Time Permitting)
  • Gourmet Wine Lunch
  • All Gratuities for Wineries & Driver
  • Snacks & Bottled Water on the Charter (and an Ice Chest of Beer, Hard Seltzer & Cider!)
  • Border and Toll Road Fees
  • Basically, everything except your take home bottles of wine and souvenir purchases!!

COST:

All Inclusive Day Trip $230/person

The Upper Crust $215/person

Not-So Fine Print

  • YOU MUST have a valid Passport or Passport Card for travel to/from Mexico.
  • Full trip payment becomes non-refundable (unless we are able to fill your spot) at midnight on 9/30/19.
  • Guest is responsible for any duty fees due to wine purchases over max import of 2 bottles of wine.
  • Charter will leave Proprietor's Reserve Promptly at 7:30am, trip cost will be forfeited if guest misses charter.
  • Planned return time back to PRWB is between 8:30-9pm, depending on border wait time.
  • All guests will be required to sign a release of liability prior to the trip.
  • To decrease the amount of time crossing the border, guests will be required to fill out a Tourist Visa Card, or FMM prior to departure. This form will be provide to you prior to the trip.
