Understanding the Fundamentals of Business Financial Statements
Math Friendly? YES!
Financial statements are the scorecards of business. They not only let you understand the health of your business, but they can help you forecast your future performance and understand where your financial strengths and weaknesses lie, especially compared to your competitors. In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of reading and interpreting a Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow Statement. You’ll see how the numbers in each of these statements connect to each other, and how you can use the data in the statements to forecast your future income and expenses and compare your company to others in your industry. The workshop is designed for people with no background in accounting, and the presenter will walk you through the essentials, step-by-step. If you can add, subtract, multiply and divide, you are good to go!
Workshop Objectives
There will be several opportunities to ask questions and you will be provided with handouts to help you during and after the workshop.
