Local Learning Seminar with WDEQ Water Quality Division.

Join us to learn more about the changes at WDEQ recently and upcoming permit renewal changes.  

Lunch will be provided.  

The WDEQ/WQD and Mountain States Chapter are offering a free seminar to all interested parties to hear more about the new SWPPP review process, possible upcoming permt changes, and compliance inspections and enforcement.  

Presentations will be:as follows:

Anita Rehner - SWPPP 101: How to get a passing grade from WDEQ on the 1st try. This presentation will be about tips for writing SWPPPs that will be accepted by WYEQ for the Large Construction General Permit for Stormwater including what to include and what not to include.Anita has been reviewing SWPPPs very thoroughly since starting at WDEQ last fall.  

Barb Sahl - 2020 Permit Renewal - Looking for input on aspects of the permit and permitting process that can improved. Barb has been with the WQD program for 22 years and is going to be working on the rewrite for both the large and small construction permit.

Jim Eisenhauer - WYPDES Inspection Program Coordinator will be talking about the inspection process and what permittees must do to stay in compliance with the permit and Wyoming Water Quality Rules and Regulation requirements. There will also be a general overview of the enforcement process.
