THE IMPORTANCE OF THE GRASSROOTS EFFORTS OF MEMBER DENTISTS, DENTAL AND PRE-DENTAL STUDENTS DURING THE ADA AND THE TDA LEGISLATIVE SESSIONS

This meeting will inform attendees of the current state of the Texas Dental Association and the TDA's and ADA's accomplishments during the 86th State Legislature and 116th Congressional Session. It is most essential at this time for dentists, dental students, and pre-dental students to support their elected officials!

• Dr. Charles Miller will discuss the current state of the Texas Dental Association.
• Dr. Matthew Roberts will discuss the legislative accomplishments for the Texas 86th Legislative Session.
• Dr. Craig Armstrong will discuss the legislative accomplishments for the U.S. 116th Congressional Session.
• Mr. Jess Calvert will discuss the importance of members’ continued involvement with their local politicians’ campaign initiatives and fundraisers, as well as, the importance of members’ continued investment in their profession by contributing to their political action committees (DENPAC and ADPAC).
