14TH ANNUAL ITE STUDENT DAY - CAREER FAIR + LUNCHEON
The 14th Annual Illinois ITE Student Day will be held on Friday, November 8th, 2019. Student Day provides an excellent opportunity to connect companies, professionals, and students within the field of transportation engineering and planning. Student Day starts with a career fair from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Immediately following will be a luncheon from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, which will provide professionals and students the opportunity to network in a more informal and personal environment.
An exhibitor table at the career fair is $50, which also includes one luncheon registration. All other professionals attending the luncheon are $20 for ITE members and $25 for non-ITE members. Please note that professionals do not need to attend the career fair in order to attend the luncheon.
If you are a student seeking an internship or full-time employment, or at the very least, looking to come away with a better glimpse of the transportation community, we encourage you to attend. The ITE Student Day career fair and luncheon are FREE for students; however, space is limited and a seat at the luncheon is not guaranteed, so students must register to attend.
AFTERNOON COMPANY VISIT
Students who attend the Student Day will have the opportunity to visit companies in the Chicago area after the Luncheon. We will be taking group transportation from UIC to the Loop to visit the companies. Students will be able to learn about the culture and work the companies do. We will be back to UIC by 4:30 PM. More details to be sent out soon.
