2019 VRAS Annual Symposium

Registration is now open for the 2019 VRAS Annual Symposium!

The VRAS is an active, purposeful network of higher education colleagues in Virginia that advances open discussion and dissemination of knowledge to support institutions to achieve and sustain SACSCOC accreditation. The VRAS serves the higher education community in Virginia by facilitating inter-institutional relationships and providing accurate information and reliable interpretation of SACSCOC policy.

The 2019 VRAS Annual Symposium is scheduled for Wednesday, November 13 at the Biotech One, 800 E Leigh St, Richmond, VA 23298. We are pleased to have SACSCOC VP, Dr. Denise Young, joining us for this year's symposium. The Symposium kicks off with a continental breakfast at 8:00 am and concludes at 4:30 pm.

Registration

The $95 registration fee includes lunch and mid-day refreshments, symposium materials, and directory of 2019 symposium participants. Registration is capped at 85 participants.

Cancellations must be received in writing ten (10) days prior to the scheduled event. Please send cancellation request to tparedes@odu.edu. Refunds will be processed after the scheduled event. Please note that refunds will not be issued for cancellations received after this time nor will they be given for no-shows. Substitutions may be made at any time.

Parking

If staying at Delta Hotels by Marriott Richmond Downtown guests,the hotel offers shuttle service that can transport you to and from the Biotech One building.

For event day only attendees, pay for parking is available at the VCU 8th Street Parking Deck (659 N. 8th St., Richmond, VA 23298). Parking costs: $1 for the first hour, $2 for two hours and $2 per hour for each additional hour for a maximum rate of $10 per day. Credit cards, debit cards and cash are accepted.

Lodging

Reserve your room today! The Delta Hotels by Marriott Richmond Downtown is the headquarters hotel for the 2019 Virginia Assessment Group conference, and the group rate applies to VRAS participants.
