Ontario Psychological Association 72nd Annual Conference

Dear Members,

On behalf of the OPA Board and Conference Committee I am happy to be releasing the program and start registration for our annual conference.  We have many exciting workshops and we appreciate the colleagues who will be sharing their expertise.  As we did last year, we will hold our conference at the Toronto Reference Library (Yonge and Bloor in Toronto) which has large, bright and beautiful meetings spaces. Last year at the time of registration we did not have the entire conference space at the library which was why we had to close registration for some workshops earlyThis year we have the entire two floors of space at the library with more room for workshops available.  Nonetheless, please register early as the space is not infinite!

This year the conference will be held 15 and 16 November, with workshops running Friday afternoon and all day Saturday.  Below are some highlights in addition to the listed workshops.
  • Use of the entire conference space with more room for events and workshops
  • Workshops are eligible for CE credits
  • Tapas and Wine reception Friday evening co-sponsored by CAPDA and OPA, to be held with the Poster Presentation Session Friday evening
  • Continental breakfast, lunch and sponsored breaks - with time for networking and socializing with colleagues
  • Keynote Speaker, Mikel Pearce: Cybersecurity and maintaining PHIPA standards
  • Multiple vendors
  • Posters will be present available for display from Friday noon to Saturday at 4:30 PM.
We look forward to seeing you at the conference and invite you also take the opportunity to meet our new CEO, Mr. Richard Morrison, in person.

Warm Regards,
