LORI M. TYACK
The Franklin County Municipal Clerk of Court

Lori M. Tyack was born in Central Ohio, and has lived here her entire life. She attended Whitehall City Schools and earned an Associate’s Degree from Columbus State Community College. She later completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Ohio Dominican University. As part of her continuing education, Lori attended classes offered by the Ohio Supreme Court and the National Center for State Courts. Through these efforts, she has achieved recognition as a Certified Court Manager, Certified Court Executive, and Institute for Court Management Fellow.

Lori was elected as the Franklin County Municipal Court Clerk in 2005. She is currently serving her third term. Her work experience includes serving as a legal assistant and paralegal in the private sector. Her public sector experience includes duties performed at the Ohio' Council and serving as a Bailiff for Judge Jennifer Brunner in the Franklin County Common Pleas Court.

In addition to her responsibilities as the Clerk of Court, Lori serves on the Franklin County Criminal Justice and Community Corrections Board. She is a member of the Mayor’s Court Clerks of Ohio, the Ohio Association of Municipal/County Court Clerks (served as President for two terms and Conference Chair for 15 conferences), the Ohio Association of Court Administrators, and the National Association of Court Managers.

Lori is the mother of three sons and currently resides in Gahanna. She is a member of Peace Lutheran Church.
