Program Description:
Tax considerations underlie nearly everything we do as financial advisors, and yet most of us are not CPAs. When it comes to tax, what do you really need to know, and when should you say “I don’t know” and hand off the issue to an expert? What are the major tax planning opportunities to look for in each stage of life? How do you avoid tax surprises? Our panelists will share perspectives on how they coordinate with clients’ tax preparers, where to draw the line between our domain and theirs, and how to add maximum value for the benefit of all.
Panel:
Sandi Bragar, CFP® is a Partner at Aspiriant, and also the firm's Managing Director in Planning Strategy & Research. She started her career as a CPA at Ernst & Young before transitioning into wealth management with Kochis Fitz.
