Pick up NEED materials and conference supplies. 

8:45 a.m.         Welcome and Wind Energy Bingo
Welcome! Review goals and objectives for the workshop and begin planning ways to use the NEED materials and training in your school.  Play Wind Energy Bingo!

9:15 a.m.         Science of Energy
An understanding of energy and energy transformations sets the foundation for learning about wind generated electricity. 

10:00 a.m.       Wind Energy 101

10:30 a.m.       Teaching Language Arts with Wind
Use interdisciplinary lessons to integrate more wind in the classroom too!

11:30 a.m.       Wind Energy in Kansas  

 12:15 p.m.      Lunch

1:00 p.m.         Using Wind for Schools Data Acquisition
Learn where Wind For Schools data is housed online and how to access it.

1:15 p.m.         Exploring Wind Activities
Explore the production of electricity from wind energy.   These lessons and activities provide activities to engage students in learning about wind energy. 

 3:00 p.m.         Paperwork and Other Stuff:  Complete Workshop Evaluations, Post-workshop assessment.

 3:30 p.m.         Adjourn
