Course Description:

The entry point into our cybersecurity program, CSX Cybersecurity Fundamentals offers a certificate in the introductory concepts that frame and define the standards, guidelines and practices of the industry. The certificate and related training are an ideal way to get started on a career in cybersecurity. These skills are in high demand, as threats continue to plague enterprises around the world. This knowledge-based certificate can enable you to:

  • Demonstrate your understanding of the principles that frame and define cybersecurity and the integral role of cybersecurity professionals in protecting enterprise data
  • Add a credential to your resume/CV that will distinguish you from other candidates for advancement or a new job
  • Stay ahead of the curve on your current career path or start your new cybersecurity career strong
The Cybersecurity Fundamentals exam tests for foundational knowledge across five key areas of cybersecurity:
  1. Cybersecurity concepts
  2. Cybersecurity architecture principles
  3. Cybersecurity of networks, systems, applications and data
  4. The security implications of the adoption of emerging technologies
  5. Incident response

Cancellations / Refunds Policy

Payment is due on, or before, the scheduled session. Cancellations must be received seven (7) calendar days prior to a seminar date; if you already paid in full, a full refund will be provided. If you need to cancel within the seven calendar days prior to a seminar and you already paid, you will not receive a refund however you may defer your payment towards a future seminar. Please note that we need to adhere to our policy in order to offer our members quality training sessions and to help us plan for seminar expenses (room/food).
