As a Fresno State alumnus affiliated with the grape and wine industry, you are receiving this invitation to join us on November 23 for the Fresno State Wine Fest! This family-friendly event will be held at the Margie Wright Diamond on campus four hours prior to the Fresno State vs. Nevada home football game. It will feature San Joaquin Valley wineries and Fresno State alumni winemakers from various wine growing regions throughout the state.

The Fresno State Department of Viticulture and Enology and San Joaquin Valley Winemakers are excited to work with Fresno State Athletics to present this event before the last home game.  It is the final event of the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology's 2019 Food, Family, and Farm Month list of outreach and educational activities.

We encourage wineries to reserve their space by November 8 to showcase their amazing wines, mingle with old and new friends, and receive two game tickets to watch the Fresno State Bulldogs take on Nevada!

• The Wine Fest is free for wineries to participate
• Wine Fest entry is free to the public. Upon entry, attendees 21+ who wish to taste wine will purchase tickets for tastings ($1) or full glasses ($5)
• NEW! Wineries will receive a $ portion of each ticket collected at their table
• Each winery may register up to two representatives to pour their wine
• Each winery will receive two (2) tickets to the November 23 football game for their two participating representatives 
• We anticipate that participating wineries will be asked to arrive at the softball stadium approximately 5 hours prior to the game to allow for set up.
• Since the kick-off time will not be announced until approximately two weeks prior to game day, we are not able to provide defined hours for the event at this time.  Participating wineries will be notified via email at a later date.

With music, food trucks, wine, and games, it will be a fun way for everyone to get ready to watch the Fresno State Bulldogs play football. Attendees and wineries will also have an opportunity to meet the faculty, staff, and students, and clubs from Fresno State's viiculture and enology program.

To help us with our planning, we request that wineries RSVP to reserve their space by November 8 and email their winery logo to Amanda Sopp at the San Joaquin Valley Winegrowers Association to be included in promotional materials.

Football Ticket Discounts for Wine Fest Attendees

Participating wineries will receive up to two free tickets to the Fresno State vs Nevada football game.

Members of the general public who attend the Wine Fest may purchase discount tickets to the Fresno State vs Nevada football game.  They will also be able to vote online for their favorite Wine Fest winery.  Click here for details.
