Carbine/Rifle Skills for Female Officers

The Saint Paul Police Professional Development Institute (PDI) is excited to present Carbine/Rifle Skills for Female Officers.

This course is very similar in design to the Pistol Skills for Female Enforcers Course. It is designed for the female officer to refine and build patrol rifle skills in an environment that is open and encouraging. This course will cover the fundamentals of using a patrol rifle such as loading, unloading, manipulation of the fire controls, three types of reloads, malfunction clearance techniques, transitions from rifle to handgun, sighting considerations, positional shooting, ballistics, rifle set-up, and related equipment selection.

This course is designed for officers that are authorized to use a patrol rifle in their agency and have received at least introductory training on the weapon platform. It is applicable for officers of all skill levels and all officers will leave with an improved understanding of the patrol rifle and its benefits.

This class promotes a low stress learning environment that is fun and will build fundamental skills.  It is a great opportunity to network and learn while having fun.
