Boot Camp: Getting Started with Personalized Learning

Are you an educator new to a district that implements learner centered practices? 

Are you looking to start or reignite learner-centered practice in your classroom? 

Do you know a little bit about learner centered practice, but want to take it to a deeper level?

Boot Camp: Getting Started with Personalized Learning is a workshop intended for those new to the concepts of personalized learning and/or for those who need a bit of a refresher. This workshop is open to anyone but FREE for all Institute members! Unsure if your school or district is an Institute member? Email us at contactus@institute4pl.org and ask!

During this professional learning session, participants will discuss the characteristics of POWERful learners:

Purpose
Ownership
Wonder
Efficacy
Responsibility

In addition, participants will gain an understanding around: 

Why – Making the case for shifting towards a learner-centered educational system
What – Defining personalizing learning through a learner-centered framework and change strategy
How – Tips and strategies to begin implementing personalized learning in their classrooms
