Idaho’s Sound Beginnings- Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) program and the National Center for Hearing Assessment and Management (NCHAM) are partnering to offer a new training opportunity for Audiologists, Early Interventionists, Speech-Language Pathologists and Teachers of the Deaf that work with children in Idaho that are D/HofH ages 0-3.
The primary objective of this 2-part, interactive workshop is to bring multi-disciplinary professionals together for a shared learning opportunity that aims to create seamless care coordination of services and ultimately build empowered families in Idaho.
Online training will be once a week beginning the week of January 27, 2020 and continuing through February 20, 2020 (90 minutes each week). This will prepare participants to fully engage during the onsite workshop. Online sessions utilize the free Moodle and Zoom platforms. In order to participate fully, you will be required to have video, audio and keyboard capabilites durign all online sessions.
The onsite workshop will take place Febraury 27-29, 2020 at St. Luke's Hospital in Meridian, ID.

Training Registration:
The workshop is open only to Idaho Professional serving Idaho children ages 0-3.
Registration is free, but is limited to the following:
10- Idaho Audiologists
10- Idaho SLP's
10- Idaho Teachers for the Deaf
10- Idaho Part C providers
15- Idaho Students
*Enrollment will be based on first come, first served. Participants must be able to attend both the online and onsite trainings.
Registration Deadline: January 20, 2020
*Early Registration is encouraged as enrollment is limited to 55 participants. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule this workshop if an insufficient number of registrations are recieved.
