STREET SAFE: Surviving Violent Encounters & Counter Ambush

The St. Paul Police Department PDI is proud to bring back "STREET SAFE: Surviving Violent Encounters & Counter Ambush."

This 2-day course is designed for all officers but is geared in particular towards patrol officers.  This course will focus on officer safety and will promote a goal of winning every use of force encounter while giving the officer updates in shooting techniques and force on force training.

The course will include shooting from cover, vehicles, while moving, in close quarters and from alternative shooting positions, as well as one hand shooting using both weapon and reaction hands.  It will also include extensive force on force scenarios.  This 2 day format of this class will allow expanded instruction in live fire and force on force / reality based training and will highly reinforce officer safety skills.
