As a key supporter for computer science education efforts in Massachusetts, we hope you will join us on November 20, 2019 to build momentum for advancing high quality, equitable computer science education in our state. In order to make advances in DLCS education for ALL students, we need your voice and your leadership!
The day will be divided into two parts:
Morning - Plenary and Sessions: We will look at efforts in other states around CS Education, take an "Equity Walk" to strategize how to address all students, and attend sessions that focus on CS Education Programs in MA, take a deeper dive into state implementation models, learn about curricula and professional development opportunities and consider how we want to measure success.
Afternoon - Taking Action: Two working sessions will be offered: a technical assistance session for the MA DESE Digital Now! RFP and an opportunity to contribute to the DLCSforMA Plan of Action.
The meetings will be held at The Conference Center at Waltham Woods located at 860 Winter Street in Waltham, MA and will include a light breakfast and lunch.
