An Overview of the San Diego International Airport Development Plan

San Diego International Airport has seen unprecedented growth in passenger volumes over the past decade.  Nowhere is the impact of this growth more evident than in Terminal 1, an outdated airport facility that is no longer capable of providing the world class customer service our passengers have come to expect.  The replacement of Terminal 1 is the centerpiece of the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority’s Airport Development Plan (ADP), the next phase of master planning at the airport which envisions a series of improvements to enhance the passenger experience.  Mr. Ted Anasis – Manage of Airport Planning will present on the Airport Development Plan.  For more information please visit www.san.org/plan [san.org].

Mr. Anasis leads the long-term planning and master planning for San Diego International Airport, as well as leading the environmental and coastal review of airport projects at San Diego International Airport.  He has led the master planning and environmental review for the Green Build at Terminal 2 and the Rental Car Center at San Diego International Airport.  Mr. Anasis was born and raised in San Diego County and attended UC Davis where he obtained a B.S. in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and the American Planning Association.
