Themes: self-awareness, self-compassion, stress management, and practical self-care and community-care strategies for optimizing our “zone of well-being” that connect to both our spiritual, emotional and physical lives.
Facilitator: Rev. Skye Murray serves as the Pediatric Chaplain at the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth. She joined the CHaD team in 2016 after nine years as a pediatric chaplain at Norton Healthcare in Louisville, Kentucky. There she served for six years as the Pediatric Intensive Care Chaplain, and 3 years as a Neonatal Intensive Care and Labor and Delivery Chaplain. She is an ordained clergy with the Presbyterian Church (USA) and is a Board Certified Chaplain with the Association for Professional Chaplains. She serves on the Commission on Ministry for the Presbytery of Northern New England as well as the Area 1 (New England) Chair for Board Certification with the Association of Professional Chaplains. She adores the spunk of her young daughters, her Fiesta Dinnerware collection, and getting lost in a good novel.
